This Is My Space, Tom

I know you had to leave. I saw what they did to you. They used you and abused you. They cloned your work and didn't even credit you one bit. It was no different than what they did to me. I climbed charts like no other from the day that I saw your beautiful creation. Without you, I would have never known what I was capable of. I always saw these magic boxes as just that. Magic. Digital prisons. There was no way that a computer could help me escape the reality that they had personally formed around me. That would be preposterous.

In the end, this is not what we signed up for. We were legends. We were heroes. Now the big shots just come in and bring their dancing girls (who are often suspiciously young) with them. They can take our hard-earned projects to Dubai without us all that they want. That is their problem. They will have to answer for their sins and their crimes when the time comes. So will we.

There will always be more to the story. We did not hit publish on everything. That is okay. It was an accident, yo. I did not mean to look away, but I did. I missed it. The world passed by in the blink of an eye. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. I finally had a real friend, and his name was Tom. Thank you for everything!

Heads Up! November 27, 2024 | By: Zayne Harbison Blogging This blog will be my main page from here on out! I hope to inspire as many people as possible using the power of basic internet access and thorough understanding of basic networking ! As daunting as this task was and still is for me - and no matter how much I hope people respect that - it will never be that way for others. The internet was the worst thing in my life growing up, and sometimes it makes me feel like I never grew up at all. Laughing at silly pictures on the internet all day or getting irately angry every time a politician makes a dumb tweet is just not healthy for an adult man. I grew up in what most people call "the hood" or "the ghetto" to drop just a few of the labels that have been given to me. Looking White does not make that much different, if you ask me. All it does is drive a wedge even further between me and other people. If I try to be myself, it is laughed at or mocked ...

Fundraising!

Through my efforts to build a career, I have found that I do - indeed - have a calling! It is not exactly the calling that I wanted, but beggars cannot be choosers. I am the same kid that sat at the bottom of the totem pole for fifteen years living with my mother and her family. I am the same kid that was too good with computers to be left alone. I am also the same kid that is desperate to do the right thing and live in peace. As corporate stakeholders become increasingly relentless to produce A.I. (artificial intelligence) and other adulterated themes in the workplace, it is becoming increasingly impossible to be at peace. No workplace has room for such a contradictory statement from up-high. Basically, what it is telling me is that the rules do not work anymore. There is no direct flow of traffic or signals coming over the airwaves or even through the front door. It is a popularity contests and the losers will be starved out until they run away crying in need of medical assistance. S...

My First Blog Entry!

Zayne's Space This is the first entry on my new blog, Zayne's Space! It is a tribute to a time when social media was not quite social media. When I was growing up, I was the only person around who knew how to use a computer and that has changed for the youth of today thanks to technological literacy. As much as that stings me deep down inside, I extend and offer of gratitude and learning. I would like to provide a window into my learning experiences from before Google and ChatGPT had an answer for everything. Hindsight is 20-20! What to expect I will be writing about my use of my home computer, my laptop, my keyboard cellphone, and many different kinds of media players. They are very similar to the modern digital interfaces, yet they contained something special that I wish to express clearly and elegantly so that others may learn about what is no longer. There are some who wish to capitalize on this in the name of fashion, but there is nothing fashionable about bull...
